Friday Prayer

​Father,
Every day that we wake up,
There is an enemy of our soul
who desires to swift us as wheat.
There is nothing more he wants than
For us to know about You but not KNOW You.
Father, let us guard our hearts towards the
Distractions that he throws at us.
We pray that we would not be
Enticed by his schemes.
Schemes that tells us the more we do,
The more we are loved.
Schemes that cause us to put our hands
To things that have no eternal value.
Schemes that lead us to have a form of godliness
But no power.
Let us not lose the desire to spend
Time in Your presence.
Let us not grow weary in waiting
On You.
Let us know Your heart towards us.
You love and adore us
And You sustain us in the midst of our
Enemy.
We love you.
